Renault AED

Every week 250 people in the Netherlands die from a cardiac arrest outside of a medical environment. In 75% of these cases people receive first aid from a non-medical person. The chance of saving someone from a heart attack is 21% higher if you use a defibrillator (AED). To maximize the chances of survival, we are going to equip a Renault ZOE with a mobile AED. By using as many ZOE’s as possible, we create an unique network of mobile AED’s and make sure there’s always an AED within a six minute range of a heart attack victim. Renault, Passion for Life.

Note: In 2018 one Renault ZOE was equipped with an AED. Then the idea was killed by global politics. In 2019 Volvo came up with exactly the same idea. Winning several awards. Sh*t happens.
